Distribution Use of System Charges Statement

This statement tells you about our charges and the reasons behind them. It has been prepared consistent with Standard Licence Condition 14 of our Electricity Distribution Licence. The main purpose of this statement is to provide our schedule of charges for the use of our Distribution System, and to provide the schedule of Line Loss Factors that should be applied in Settlement to account for losses from the Distribution System.

This statement is produced in accordance with Standard Condition 13 of Energy Assets’ Licence and describes the methodology that we use to set charges for customers connected to its electricity distribution system.

This statement is produced in accordance with Standard Condition 18 of Energy Assets’ Licence and sets out the basis upon which charges will be made for the provision of metering point administration services to enable a supplier to make a reasonable estimate of charges it would be liable to pay for the provision of such services.

This statement is published by Energy Assets to notify electricity suppliers, generators and other interested parties of our transactional charges, e.g. charges for Energisation, De-Energisation & Re-Energisation.

This statement is produced in accordance with Standard Condition 8, 9 and 10 of Energy Assets’ Licence and describes our approach to ensuring a safe and secure supply. This includes our standards for accessing your home when a site visit may be required, and other services such as a Priority Services Register, our customer complaints procedure and Ofgem’s Guaranteed Standards.

This statement is produced in accordance with Standard Condition 31E and declares our approach to procuring flexibility on our networks and the principles we apply.

Energy Assets does not currently have any generation, storage or demand response greater than 1MW as of March 2022.

This register is published to demonstrate compliance by Energy Assets Networks with the Whole System Electricity Licence condition.
